Installation of 64 solar panels at our facilities in Les Franqueses del Valles.

Plataformas Aéreas Altex s.l, through the company New Technology Ventures s.l, has recently installed a solar photovoltaic system with the aim of using the electricity generated for instantaneous self-consumption, thus reducing energy and economic costs, as well as contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas (CO2) emissions. This installation, integrated in the roof of the warehouse, consists of 64 panels of 565wp, with a 36 kW inverter and a total peak power of 36.16kWp.

This project receives significant financial support, under Program 1 belonging to the incentive grants linked to self-consumption, with renewable energy sources and implementation of renewable thermal systems, within the framework of the European Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union – NextGeneration EU. Thanks to this solar photovoltaic installation, Plataformas Aéreas Altex s.l, will have an annual renewable electricity generation of 47MWh approx, which will be used directly for the electricity consumption of our company, thus implying the following environmental benefits:

• Reduction of CO2 emissions to the atmosphere during the lifetime of the facility, which is expected to be approximately 30 years.
• This installation would be equivalent to planting 276 trees in nature.

Plataformas Aéreas Altex s.l, following these bases, made the application to the Program of incentives linked to self-consumption and storage, with renewable energy sources and implementation of renewable thermal systems, and according to the proposed resolution of award dated June 21, 2023, has been granted to Plataformas Aéreas Altex s.l the amount of 11456,00€.
